Title Fight
My client asked me to create a billboard piece for his collection that incorporated the theme of boxing as well as featuring the Earth Crusher character. I wasn’t about to put boxing mitts on EC so I had to find a clever way to include the theme. The solution was to play with the “paper” layers of the billboard from which Earth Crusher impossibly emerges and seemingly interacts with the boxing character on another layer. The big challenge with this piece was its wood construction. My previous billboard pieces have been constructed from steel, but I decided to employ my recently acquired skills in woodworking to create something with more attention to detail while saving on weight.
